On April 14, 2019, a seminar on how to cooperate and employ people with hearing impairment took place in Łódź, with particular emphasis on deaf people.

The seminar was addressed to public and non-public employment services and employers.

The meeting was attended by 20 people from several Polish cities (Łódź, Poznań, Sosnowiec). Most of them were employees and representatives of employment agencies and a representative of a large employer from the city of Łódź.

The meeting lasted 6 hours.

Participants of the meeting, apart from substantive knowledge, could participate in practical communication workshops with a deaf person.

Each of them also received a leaflet for the proHear project and a textbook "Deaf worker.

Guide for employers" and a CD with conversations and vocabulary in Polish Sign Language.
